By the time I founded my own practice in 2015, I was doing as much estate planning as family law. But adoption has always been a big passion of mine, and I’ve been delighted to take on an increasing amount of adoption, family building agreements, and child advocacy work. I’ve helped hundreds of people with cases involving family law, estate planning, probate, power of attorney, adoption, family building agreements (i.e. surrogacy, egg donor agreements), divorce, child support, child advocacy, and more.​ I’m also a Certified Mediator.

 

People sometimes associate family law and related legal areas with tension, conflict, and struggle – but it also encompasses some wonderful, uplifting moments too, especially when I can help my clients start a new family, build the family they already have, or engineer a brighter future for that family through smart estate planning. I take great pride and satisfaction in my ability to bring peace and reassurance to my clients.

 

At the same time, I won’t sugar-coat a challenging situation. I work for YOU, and part of that work involves making sure you understand what’s possible (and what isn’t) and know everything you need to know for an optimal outcome. A true friend tells it like it is while trying to help make it better. That’s me.
